2022 summer Staff and Internships

iThe Bear Trap Ranch Staff Program offers a unique and challenging opportunity to learn what it means to work hard, live, serve, and grow together in community. For over 60 years students have been dedicating their summers to impacting lives for God’s Kingdom.

Our mission at Bear Trap Ranch is to further the Kingdom of God by serving His people and those who are seeking Him. Bear Trap is a retreat center which hosts college students, youth groups, families, churches, schools and ministries based both locally in Colorado’s Front Range, and around the world. Located at 9100ft elevation in a forested valley just eight miles southwest of Colorado Springs, Bear Trap’s setting has provided a gateway for thousands of guests and campers to experience God and His creation in new and wondrous ways. Bear Trap is a place of wonder, beauty, peace and adventure.

The staff at Bear Trap Ranch is dedicated to advancing God’s Kingdom by serving each one of our guests well. We aim to provide a space where campers are free to hear God speak directly into their hearts and to see Him work in their lives. We work together as a team to ensure that the camp runs smoothly to that end. Our staff is a small one, even in the summer when we have a full complement of staff, which means that we get to know each other very well! We see this as one of the greatest gifts that God gives us at Bear Trap because it means that we get to dive into community in both our work and our play. We seek God individually and corporately, and He honors our seeking by showing up for our staff in amazing ways each and ever year! If you want community, and a chance to experience God’s presence as you serve His people, we want YOU!
